Madrid Noise Pollution Action Plan

Madrid City Council has developed the Madrid Noise Pollution Action Plan, complying with Royal Decree 1513/2005, developing the Noise Law (Law 37/2003).

The Madrid City Council initially approved the Madrid Noise Pollution Action Plan on 23 December 2009.
This map is designed to comply with the requirements of EU legislation and of the Noise Law.

Legal basis

Environmental noise is currently regulated by the Noise Law (Law 37/2003, 17 November) and the regulations developed from it by Royal Decrees 1513/2005 and 1367/2007, Decree 78/1999 regulating the protection against noise pollution in the Region of Madrid, and at the municipal level, by the Regulations to Protect the Atmosphere against Pollution by Energy Forms.
